On 21 April 2021, the first of the four planned multiplier events was held to publicise the TUT4IND project, entitled "Transforming Universities into an Inclusive Environment for People with Intellectual Disabilities". The purpose of the event, organised by Fundación Aspanias Burgos, Polibienestar (University of Valencia) and the University of Burgos, was to present the project, making its aims known, and to introduce attendees to the world of intellectual disability integrated in universities.
The event was held via telematic means and was attended by more than 130 participants.  Three presentations were given by Dr. Anne-Marie Callus, Professor at the University of Malta; Dr. Miguel Ángel Verdugo, Professor of Disability Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology and Director of the University Institute for Community Integration at the University of Salamanca and of the Disability Information Service; and the student Arantxa Martín Pelarda, a user of the Aspanias Burgos Foundation and former university student of the UBU-Te Incluye project.
In addition, the projects Eramus+, U4INCLUSION, coordinated by the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, and FORDYS-VAR and Euroddip_e, both coordinated by the University of Burgos, were presented.
The event was very well received and the attendees expressed a very good assessment of the event and the participants. The next multiplier event will be held in Belgium, in the city of Hasselt at the end of the year.
